Your door code will be sent automatically by Airbnb before arrival. Alarm and lockbox codes are provided in your messages with the host. You'll find the key lockbox on the back wall of the cabin by the woodpile.
Cell service is limited — best signal is outside or on the rooftop. Once connected to wifi, FaceTime and iMessage can be used.
Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin or on the rooftop. If you do smoke, we kindly ask that you do so near the outdoor firepit area.
To preserve the cabin's interiors and for allergy-sensitive guests, pets are not permitted on the property. An exception is made for certified service animals. Please let your host know in advance.
The cabin accommodates up to four guests. Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. No parties or events without prior approval from the host.
Please be mindful of noise after 10pm as sound carries across the valley.
The alarm system is there for your peace of mind and can be armed or disarmed as you see fit. The door panel has a camera, and two additional cameras face the driveway.
Even for a quick trip out, please close all windows, lock the front door, and close the roof hatch. If you've had a fire going, make sure it's fully out before you leave.
A first aid kit, flashlights, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are located in the closet on the living room level.
In any emergency, please dial 911 first. When you're able, let your host know at 647-299-8856 so we can help from our end.
A few helpful notes to make the most of your stay. If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to reach out to your host.
Coffee beans and English Breakfast tea are provided. You'll find two pour-over carafes and a French press above the appliances. For the slow pour-over method, filters and folding instructions are in the pantry cabinet. The temperature-control kettle is on the far left of the kitchen counter.
Add beans to the hopper and flip the switch on the side. Pull the doser lever fully to dispense each dose of ground coffee. Please don't adjust the grind setting.
View manualThe kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, cutting boards, and serving ware. You'll find oils, spices, salt, pepper, and sugar in the pantry.
The stove is induction — all cookware has been selected specifically for induction use. There is a downdraft vent in the middle of the stove.

View manualFresh ice is in the bottom drawer of the freezer. Inside the fridge, you'll find a built-in water filter on the left wall — press your glass against it for filtered water.
View manualPlease sort garbage according to Wolfville's recycling guidelines — bins are labelled for compost, waste, paper recycling, and plastic and bottles. Additional bags are under the kitchen sink.
During the colder months, a fire stack will be ready for you. To light, keep the door slightly ajar until the fire takes. When building your own, follow the top-down method shown in the manual and never stack wood above the halfway line.
View manualThere are three Sonos speakers in the cabin, one of which is portable. Once connected to the Wi-Fi, download the Sonos app to connect and control the speakers from your phone.
The thermostat is on the wall near the pantry and controls both heating and air conditioning. Adjust the temperature to your comfort. The cabin's large windows let in plenty of sunlight — opening them is a great way to cool things down naturally.
Front-loading washer and dryer are available for use. Detergent is provided. You'll find fresh towels, extra linens, an iron, and clothes steamer in the laundry closet.
View manualThe bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. You'll find a hair dryer and makeup mirror under the vanity. A full-length mirror is on the back of the laundry closet door.
Turn on the propane tank beneath the BBQ and push the starter. If it doesn't ignite after two attempts, turn off the tank and wait a minute or two. Scrape the grill clean after use.
View manualSeat cushions for the dining table and portable lamps for outdoor use are in the living room level closet. If rain rolls in, cover the furniture using the covers stored in the outdoor deck box. Please close the umbrella during high winds and the roof hatch whenever you head out.
Check the fire ban daily before use. Firestarters are in the coat closet at the front door. Kindling and logs stacked outside.

We keep it simple — just a few things to help us prepare for the next guest.
Please load any dirty dishes into the dishwasher and start a cycle before you leave.
Strip the sheets and load into the washing machine — no need to start it.
Place the covers back on the roof furniture and close the roof hatch.
Ensure any fires are completely out before leaving.
Please take all garbage and recycling with you when you leave.
Close all windows, lock the front door, and arm the security panel.
